Our ethos is to provide appropriate, cost-effective advice to clients in a form which can be readily understood and applied. Our practical approach is derived from extensive industrial experience where workable solutions are always required. The diverse background of our personnel brings key skills from the fields of civil engineering, water resources, mining geology, research and the regulatory sector. All of our work is based upon the recognition that ultimately clients need to solve practical problems, whether they be minimising environmental impact, increasing efficiency, reducing operating costs or minimising risk.
We aim not only to address the issues raised by clients, but also identify any other issues which we feel may be pertinent.
We have long recognised that the high level of technical capability within the UK could be applied more effectively in the field of aid and development. We have therefore endeavoured to engage with NGOs both within the UK and internationally, providing technical input and higher level, strategic advice in the fields of water provision and management. Significant involvement with the UK-based NGO WaterAid since 2000 has strengthened the view that this is the case.
