Peter joins the team

Peter is a hydrologist with over 30 years’ experience in managing and producing technical inputs to a range of hydrological and environmental projects. With a background in Environmental Sciences his further qualifications include postgraduate studies in surface and groundwater hydrology. Peter’s most recent experience has focussed on flood risk modelling in support of planning applications. He also has experience in surface and groundwater modelling to assist with the design of mineral extraction water management systems and the preparation of environmental impact assessment studies. His experience includes continuous rainfall-runoff modelling, reservoir routing and water balance studies. He is proficient with a range of hydrological and supporting software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WHS WINFAP, WHS ReFH2, Goldsim, PDM, GWVistas, ArcGIS, QGIS and Visual Basic. In addition, to his technical expertise, Peter has extensive and wide ranging geographical experience, having undertaken substantial periods of input in the UK, Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe.
