Principal Hydrogeologist

Lawrence has more than 30 years experience in international geoscience, having worked as a Geologist in southern Africa and the UK for 14 years and subsequently as a Hydrogeologist for 19 years both in the UK and internationally. In the UK Lawrence has undertaken a variety of hydrogeological studies, including contaminated land sites and landfills, groundwater assessments for quarry developments and pumping test design and analysis. He has also project managed several regional-scale groundwater modelling studies for the UK Environment Agency.

His international experience has included management of a regional groundwater modelling study in Oman, supervision of wellfield construction on the Man Made River project in Libya, water resource studies on Pacific atolls and development of groundwater maps for planning rural water supplies in Uganda. He has also undertaken a number of projects in Africa for WaterAid, Self Help Africa and Tearfund.
